About Us
Maiden Magazine is the product of a bicoastal team of two.
Caroline is a writer and editor living in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been published in a number of journals. Brittany is a talented editor and sharp-eyed proofreader. She curates an author event series in New Hampshire. Both are graduates of the St. Mary’s College of California MFA with concentrations in Poetry.
We are a Pisces and a Capricorn. One writes from the Cascades, the other from among the maple trees and lilacs. Our styles of writing are different, but both can exist, as can yours.
Statement of Purpose
As editors, we aim to bring new voices forward alongside the voices of our communities.
As writers and readers, we want to publish work that excites us. We favor no particular discipline or style, and encourage a diverse range of writers to submit their work. We are persuaded by the beautiful, the clever, and the mysterious. Submit your work.
